Niseko Village

Niseko Village is a single integrated resort rather than a neighbourhood that grew: one operator, a small cluster of hotels around the lifts, and a handful of houses on the approach. Because it was planned, the ski access is genuinely direct in a way that has to be checked property by property elsewhere. Since December 2023 the resort has also built its own walkable dining precinct, Niseko-Yo, at the base — a real answer to the evening question that Hirafu's street life used to be the only version of, running most of the year but still a resort project rather than a town. Prices sit slightly above Hirafu's median.
